Reasons why lying in a relationship could ruin your happiness

There is no gain in lying, especially in a relationship, I have not seen or heard anybody who has testify to the contrary, it always almost end your relationship in a hurt, or in a bad state, it will break your heart and you will always end up being hurt and angry at yourself why you even dare to lie. I will encourage everybody in a relationship and in your marriage home to always endeavor to engage your partner in solving problems instead of telling lies that will ultimately break you guys up.  There is nothing as refreshing as telling the truth in a relationship, it will help build the trust and your partner will rally on you whenever he or she has something confidential to say, because there is trust and you are open to him even when the matter is uncomfortable to discuss with your partner, but what could be uncomfortable in a happy union?!.

 I have always asked this question and nobody has given me a reasonable answer, what could be so uncomfortable in a marriage that leads partners into lies?

It is only one thing!, and that is infidelity, those of you that cheats on your spouse always find it easier to lie in a relationship, because there is no other way a woman or a man can lie to his loving partner if the crime or sin is not as evil as infidelity.

Lying in a relationship puts you in a serious danger because a lie is like a deep black hole, it keeps going deep until it sees the light, and the light is always when the truth comes out, that is when the bubble burst, try as much as possible to tell the truth and this is especially to women, any lie is the same weather is comes from a guy or from the women, but women are more likely to get hurt when the man lie, and women are also likely to get hurt when they lie, In Nigeria, a man can get away with lies, weather he cheats or not, weather he tells lies about how he spends his money or not, the woman is expected to understand at home and play along, but when a woman cheats and she gets caught, there is 99 percent chances that she will leave that home, it’s almost certain that the relationship or marriage as the case maybe is ruined. So my advice to women especially is to please stay honest to your man in everything you do, if a man is disturbing you outside your marriage! Please tell your husband.

My advice to both men and women in a serious relationship or in your marriage is never entertain the temptation of lying, just because you think your partner may never find out, because when the truth eventually surfaces, the result is always not pretty, as women when you lie and later your man finds out the truth, it erodes trust and when there is no trust in a marriage then there is nothing left in that marriage, always open up and discuss, no matter how uncomfortable it may be, honest discussion always lead to more trust and closeness in a relationship, your partner will grow closer to you and this will lead to bliss in your home, and you will be happier for it, don’t  entertain any form of lie in your home because when the kids get to know that mummy and daddy lies all the time, there is no moral ground to tell your kids not to lie, because already they know you do it and get away with it, they will learn and start lying, so you are not only hurting your partner, but always you are hurting your kids and the whole family suffers because of your lies and deception, Honesty is the key to a happy home.
